Before & after
From a description of the work to the work itself.
The old homepage opened with a paragraph about the practice. The new one opens with buildings: full-bleed photography, immediate sector filtering, and clear project narratives without distracting decoration. Drag the handle to compare.
Text-Led Homepage
Paragraph of text before any image, a small static gallery with no filtering, and contact details hidden in the footer.
Projects-First Platform
Full-bleed project photography from the first screen, instant sector filters (commercial, mixed use, medical, residential), and a project page template built like an architectural monograph.
Projects first
The portfolio runs the site.
Clients hire an architect after seeing buildings like theirs. So we built the site around the projects: sector filtering that responds instantly, large-format imagery that shows detailing, and a clean grid that steps out of the way of the work.
The project page
Every building gets its own page.
One template, laid out like a printed monograph: a full-width lead image, the key facts (sector, location, scale), a short narrative about the design problem, and a gallery of drawings and photographs that shows how the building came together.
Custom built
No theme. Designed and built to order.
Architects notice proportion, grids and detail, and they expect their website to show the same care. Every breakpoint was designed in Figma and coded cleanly, with no bloated theme code or off-the-shelf templates.
Proportion and grid
Typography and spacing set on a consistent scale, so the site feels as considered as the practice's drawings.
Speed on mobile
Architecture sites are notoriously slow. Images are served in modern formats, sized to the screen and lazy-loaded.
Easy to update
A clean CMS structure lets the team add new projects, photographs and sectors without needing a developer.
Responsive
A portfolio that fits in a pocket.
On mobile, project galleries become swipeable, the sector filters sit in one scrollable row, and the navigation stays out of the way until needed. Prospective clients often browse on their phone before a first meeting.
